Scenario: User wants a moderate trip with Golden Teacher mushrooms (dried).
Result: 1.9g - 2.9g of dried Golden Teacher mushrooms needed.
Why? Golden Teacher contains approximately 0.63% psilocybin. To consume 12-18mg of the active compound, you need roughly 2 to 3 grams of dried mushroom material.
The Math behind the Magic:
To find the weight in grams, we divide the target dose (mg) by the concentration of psilocybin in the mushroom.
Formula:
Weight (g) = Target Dose (mg) / (Percentage × 10)
Step 1 (Convert % to mg/g):
0.63% means there are 6.3mg of psilocybin in every 1 gram of dried mushroom.
Step 2 (Calculate Range):
Min: 12mg / 6.3 = 1.90g
Max: 18mg / 6.3 = 2.85g
Result: You need between 1.9g and 2.9g.
