What Is an All In One Grow Bag?

An all-in-one mushroom grow bag combines sterilized millet grain and CVG bulk substrate (coco coir, vermiculite, and gypsum) in a single bag. Simply inject your spore syringe through the self-healing injection port and let nature do the rest. Designed for beginners and experienced growers alike.

How to Use Your All In One Grow Bag

Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace

Wipe down your work surface and wash your hands thoroughly. Use the included alcohol wipe to clean the grey square injection port on the front of the bag.

Step 2: Inject Your Spore Syringe

Insert your spore syringe needle directly into the center of the self-healing injection port. Inject 1–3ml of spore solution evenly. The port seals itself automatically after injection — no additional tape required.

Step 3: Colonization

Place the bag in a warm, dark location between 21–26°C (70–79°F). White fluffy mycelium will begin spreading from the injection point within 5–14 days. Allow the bag to fully colonize — the substrate will turn completely white.

Step 4: Initiate Fruiting

Once fully colonized, cut open the top of the bag with clean scissors. Place in a humid environment with indirect light and fresh air exchange. Mist the surface lightly twice daily.

Step 5: Harvest

Harvest your mushrooms just before or as the veil underneath the cap begins to tear. Twist and pull gently at the base. A single bag can produce multiple flushes.

When to break and shake all in one bag?

Break and shake your bag when it reaches around 30% colonization, taking two to four weeks. Just break up the grain without mixing it into the substrate. Once it hits 60 to 70% colonization, you should break it up again and thoroughly mix it with the whole bag.

What's the best all in one mushroom grow bag?

There is no single best bag, but you should look for a thick bag of at least 6 to 8 mm so it does not break. The substrate must be properly hydrated and properly sterilized. Ensure it has a 0.2 mm filter patch so absolutely no contamination can enter your grow bag.

How to fruit all in one grow bag?

You can start fruiting directly in the bag once your block is fully colonized. Simply cut open the bag over the filter patch to introduce fresh air and trigger pinning. If it looks dry, mist the inside of the plastic bag every other day, never the substrate directly.

How to inoculate all in one grow bag?

You inoculate the grain directly using a spore syringe or liquid culture. Use 2 to 3 ml for a 1 liter bag, 3 to 4 ml for 2 liters, and 5 to 6 ml for 3 liters. Liquid cultures are always preferred, since raw spores are much more likely to develop a contamination.

How long to grow mushrooms in a bag?

It usually takes four to six weeks to grow mushrooms in a bag. This timeline depends heavily on the strain and temperature, as well as your inoculation method. Using spores usually takes one to two weeks longer to colonize compared to using an isolated liquid culture
