Frequently Asked Questions
I'd say the All-in-One bag (or grain bag) is the way to go. You simply inoculate it with spores or liquid culture and then wait. The All-in-One bag even grows the mushrooms right out of the bag itself.
P. Cubensis strains are known to be great for beginners, especially B+ and Golden Teacher. Both are also among the most well-known mushroom strains out there. They're resilient to contamination, temperature changes, and mistakes while growing, so they'll forgive you a lot.
It really depends on the method, but with an All-in-One bag, for example, you just have to inoculate, which takes about 5 minutes, then wait a couple of weeks before you can harvest. So it's basically no work at all.
This also depends on the method, but the cheapest option starts at 19.99€. As you gain experience and get deeper into growing, it gets even cheaper.
From my experience, monotubs and large grow bags usually provide enough mushrooms for a long time. On my first try, I harvested over 300g of fresh mushrooms, which lasted forever.
They grow in a wide variety of temperatures, but the optimal range is between 21-27°C (70-81°F).
